Chardonnay $12, probably an '05. Fruity, not oaky or vanilli. Tastes like grapes. Actually enjoyable Chardonnay & M agrees. Intend to try their higher end version. ** just because its a Chardonnay that I like to drink.

Ghost In The Shell

Fantastic: stunning art, thoughtful dramatic detective thriller sci-fi screenplay. Philip K. Dick-esque. Gorgeous to look at. Emotionally satisfying. Should look up sequels, but we may have binged a bit on cartoons lately.

Spatlase

First Spatlese, an '04 Alsheimer Fruhmesse; it did taste sweet at first, filled out nicely with roast chicken, and served as a dramatically integrated foil for roasted vegetables with a soy ginger olive oil vinaigrette. Continuing to provide more than balance for the food, it seemed to meld with their flavor. Fun.
