Spatlase

First Spatlese, an '04 Alsheimer Fruhmesse; it did taste sweet at first, filled out nicely with roast chicken, and served as a dramatically integrated foil for roasted vegetables with a soy ginger olive oil vinaigrette. Continuing to provide more than balance for the food, it seemed to meld with their flavor. Fun.
